Chris Haddock our head chef has had experience around the world and he is now with us at The Red Hall Hotel serving beautiful passion made food at Oscar’s Restaurant which has gained a Rosette status for the second year running.

Oscar’s underwent a refurbishment in 2015 and is open to the public, residents, available for private hire, events and gourmet evenings.

Chris’ grandparents’ pork shop in Ramsbottom, together with his Grandmother’s cooking, sparked his love for food and inspired him from a young age. Despite being only partially sighted in her later years, Chris’ Grandmother was passionate about cooking “..each sausage roll was a perfect specimen.” She taught him the basics, how to feel, listen, smell and taste his cooking, from making the perfect chip to the best Lancashire Steak and Kidney Pudding.
